Our 15 year Anniversary

I want to wish my husband Dave a Happy Anniversary and tell him how much I love him. He is so good to me and our 5 children. He is so involved as a dad and is their coach in everything they do. Dave will do anything for anybody and he never complains. I know his willingness to help is appreciated by everyone. It's been a fun ride so far, I am excited for the future. He wants us to serve a mission together, It seems so far away, but just think about it, in 15 more years we will about be ready to do that. Thanks Dave for 15 wonderful years, thanks for being so awesome! I love you, Love Heather

Thanksgiving 2008

We went up to Little Creek Cabin for Thanksgiving, it was hard knowing Grandpa Evans would not be there. It was a wonderful day! Grandpa's Spirit was so strong, We all reminisced about him and Doug and there dream of the beautiful cabin we have to share with everyone. It was truly a dream come true for both of them. It was most of the families on year, which means we had close to 100 people there. It was awesome! We had so much fun visiting and enjoying each others company. Grandma Evans was up there and did pretty good. Helen took care of here the week before and through Thanksgiving, We will miss having her around! She did awesome! After this we went to Dave's parents in town and had a dinner there. All of his brothers and sisters were there. We had an enjoyable time there also. It couldn't get much better than this!

Halloween

Halloween 2008

We had a wonderful Halloween! We went to Grandma Evan's house 1st and visited for a while, thinking earlier would be better! She was doing good. We went down to Grandma Debbies for a Halloween dinner party. We had home made chili, Cheese and Crackers, Home made cinnimon rolls and Popcorn Balls, YUMMY! The older kids all left from there with friends to go Trick or Treating. Brentlee and I loaded the stroller and started walking around the neighborhood. We had such a fun time! The weather was perfect (70 degrees) and I truely enjoyed watching Brentlee go from door to door saying "Trick or Treating" She loved it. The next morning she asked if she could go again when it was night time. We came home and watched Tinkerbell, the rest of the kids had parties. It was a very fun Halloween!

Goodbye Grandpa Evans, We will miss you!

My Grandpa Evans passed away on October 15th. Yes he was 91 years old, but for some reason we all thought he would live forever! His mind was as sharp as a tack and if it weren't for his knees, he would have been in perfect health! He just wasn't supposed to go first. He has taken care of my Grandma for the past couple of years, as things have been harder and harder for her to remember and comprehend. He still drove up to the cabin and to panquitch to feed animals every day! He would make trips to cedar a couple times a week, sometimes just to go to Carl's jr. Or KFC. He was an awesome man, I feel very priveladged to live close and get to visit often. His funeral was on Monday October 20th. It was such a nice service, I was very honored to be asked to speak on behalf of the grandkids memories. Grandpa was taken in a horse drawn wagon with a empty saddled horse following it up to the cemetary, WOW, how awesome that was. It is just the way Grandpa would have liked it! He already had his headstone up there, and it was such a nice day. We all could really feel the spirit! There is not many more true cowboys left on this earth, he was truely a special man! All I worry about now is Grandma, but she has so many people around who love her, she will be well taken care of! Good Bye Grandpa, until we meet again! We love you!

Her actual birthday was yesterday on the 20th, but it was kind of a poopy day. My Grandpa Evans Passed away last wednesday and the funeral was on Monday, her birthday. Elder Johnson!

Adam entered the MTC on Wednesday morning. He was set apart Tuesday evening by President Vincent who gave a remarkable blessing! We then went to mom and dads were we all set around and told Adam how we felt and my Dad gave him a fathers blessing. We had a yummy Sundae bar, and then said our goodbyes. My kids were so sad, it really hit them that Adam will be gone for two years. I am so proud of the example Adam is setting for my kids, I hope at least Braden and Bryce follow in his footseps! Thanks for being a great example Adam! We love you!

Of course we did the best decade of them all The "80's" Yes, she looks just like I did back then. I had a great time doing the "waterfall do" and the socks and the Make-up! The teachers that have been at the school since I was there think she looks just like I did. Pretty fun!

Brentlee's 1st day of Pre-school

Brentlee went to her first day of preschool today, she was so excited! When she got up this morning she said I need to eat and then I'm riding my bike to school. She seriously thought I'd let her leave the house in her PJ's with her hair not done, NOT!! She only goes one day a week for 2 hours. It was a nice break for me, I ran to Cedar and back in time to get her. They learned about the letter B and made butterflies. She had a great time, except she was hit in the eye by one of the other girls (you can kind of see the black eye). She's looking forward to next week, So am I!

Busy Time Again!

I forgot to take pictures of the 1st day of school, so this is the most recent family picture and I am going to talk about everybody! Fall is such a great time, but it also gets really hectic keeping up with everyone's schedules. I have started teaching clogging again (we take the summers off) It's awesome excercise and it keeps me from being bored! Dave is coaching Saydee's soccer team and Braden's Travel ball team, he is still in the bishopric. Haley loves 8th grade! She is now 5'9" wow! She Clogs in 4 different classes, dances, plays soccer and volleyball just in the fall. Braden is playing travel baseball and loves the 6th grade. He is liking his teacher and has fun friends in his class. He is the style monitor, Haley never was that way! Saydee is in the 5th grade. She just had a perm in her hair and she loves it. Everybody says it looks like Taylor Swift, that is what she is going for! She of course Dances and Clogs (3 classes) and we talked her into playing soccer one more year. She's good but she doesn't love it! Bryce is in the 3rd grade, one of the youngest in the class. He is playing soccer and helping grandpa Johnson. He has 2 other cousins in his same school class - the 3 musketeers! Brentlee is loving the kids being at school. She gets mom all to herself. She pretty much plans the day, park, Swimming, etc... She loves to swim and jump off the diving board. She amazes all that watch her, she usually goes off about 40 times, she yells "CANDYBAR" (instead of cannonball) I don't know what I will do when the pool closes starting in September, AHHH! Life is good, I can not complain! I have great kids and a wonderful husband, I feel so very blessed. And if you'll notice the old rock church in our picture we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place!

So many events!

Posted by Picasa

A lot has happened the last month. I loved this picture because I can talk about 3 of them! Grandpa Evans turned 91 on July 3rd. He is such an awesome man, he is fun to be around and my kids love him. Grandma Evans Celebrated her 87th birthday on July 27th. We had cake and Ice cream at her house. She would have preferred a Dance but she enjoyed herself. Grandma has such a sweet personality and we all love her! Bryce turned 8 on July 15th! He had a party out back and we set up the big waterslide my mom had bought for a family reunion. He was baptized a member of the church on Aug. 2nd and confirmed on Aug. 3rd in Sacrament meeting. We had a dinner at our house after church. Bryce had a lot of great support from grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

Saydee got her ears pierced!

Dave finally gave into at least 5 years of pleading from Saydee! She won the battle in Denver and got her ears pierced at a claire's store. She was so excited! Dave had told her she was waiting until she was 12 but she had some pretty good reasoning and Dave didn't know how to combat that!

Denver Vacation

Our vacation to Denver Colorado was Awesome! We stayed with my Aunt & Uncle, Helen and Larry Turnbaugh. She fed us awesome and we had a great time hanging out with all of her kids, luckily everyone was in town! Dave played wuffle (?) ball while I shopped for the kids school clothes. We went to a few water parks and a fun b.b.q at Crystal and Seths. We could have stayed a few more weeks, we love hanging out with the Turnbaughs - they're the greatest!

Saydee Beth

Saydee is the biggest "girlie girl" there is. She wants nothing to do with sports, she just wants to dance, dance, dance and put on makeup and paint her nails. She also wants her ears pierced this has been an on going battle for about 3 years, but dad won't give in until she's 12.
